Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Gameplay Engineer to drive the
technical vision for gameplay systems and mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and contribute to the design and architecture of core
gameplay systems
Lead the development, modification, and debugging of gameplay
software in scripting languages and C/C++
Guide the deployment, optimization, and testing of gameplay systems
across multiple platforms
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience developing and shipping AAA titles with a
focus on gameplay systems
Proven experience leading engineering efforts in Unreal Engine
4/5
Expert-level C++ skills for architecting and optimizing gameplay
mechanics
Deep knowledge of game design principles and the ability to analyze
existing games
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to lead large
features from concept to completion
