Job Description:
Job Title: Dialysis Nurse - Acute Inpatient Job Specialty:
Dialysis Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0800-1830 (or last patient),
4 days a week, Monday-Saturday; includes 4-5 days of call spread
out each month Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient dialysis experience required
License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: Basic Life Support
(BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for specific units
Must-Have: - Experience with Portable RO systems - Epic experience
- Willingness to take on-call responsibilities Job Description: -
Provide nursing care for acute inpatient dialysis patients-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient
outcomes- Utilize Portable RO systems and ensure proper maintenance
and operation- Float to other units as needed, within the scope of
dialysis nurse duties- Adhere to clinical procedures and protocols
for patient safety and care quality- Participate in emergency
response teams for stroke, trauma, ICU, and ER as needed- Provide
holistic care and education to patients and families regarding
dialysis treatment processes- Ensure accurate and timely
documentation within the EPIC system - Participate in professional
development opportunities and maintain required certifications
