Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Ambulatory Medical Coder
II.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medical coding and auditing for various specialties
Ensure compliance with coding standards and reimbursement
systems
Achieve a minimum passing score on the Medical Billing test
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of four years of medical coding/auditing experience in
multiple specialties or two years in a Military Treatment Facility
(MTF)
Advanced knowledge of ICD-CM, PCS, HCPCS, and CPT coding
systems
Understanding of reimbursement systems such as PPS, DRGs, APCs, and
RBRVS
Possession of relevant medical coding certifications is
preferred
Must document at least one year of performance in the specialty for
qualification
