Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Customer Service Specialist
to provide customer service and gather payments for medical
expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Place and receive phone calls to/from patients to gather payments
for medical expenses and negotiate repayment terms
Collect demographic, insurance, and relevant information from
patients, documenting in internal technology platforms
Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment
programs to improve their financial well-being
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED preferred
1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity
preferred
1+ year(s) of experience in a call center environment preferred
1+ year(s) of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing
preferred
1+ year(s) of experience contributing to a team culture of learning
and growth preferred
