Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Previous experience with pediatric echocardiograms is required. License: License in-hand required with submission Certifications: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS), ACLS/BLS/NIHSS Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine are required, with medical/religious exemptions only. Job Description: - Perform echocardiograms with a primary focus on adult patients while being competent with pediatric cases, averaging 5-10 pediatric patients per week. - Participate in On-Call rotations as required; once during the week and every third weekend. - Orientation of 16 hours will be provided to familiarize with protocols and procedures. - Ensure that the work conducted complies with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrate compassion and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families. - Maintain updated knowledge and skills in cardiac sonography techniques and practices. - Adhere to safety and infection control policies and guidelines consistently. - Utilize sonographic equipment and reporting systems proficiently and accurately.
