highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a
team in the development and implementation of cutting-edge medical
device packaging and sterilization technology. This role will be a
member of the site leadership team and a key member of the Global
Technical Operations group. You will oversee engineering projects
from concept to production, ensuring compliance with regulatory
standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
within the team. Experience in packaging technology is considered a
significant advantage for this position.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting professional
growth and collaboration.
- Develop a manufacturing technology roadmap that aligns with
business requirements. Oversee roadmap timelines, budgets, and
resources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and
testing of manufacturing technology, ensuring they meet standards
and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D,
regulatory, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to ensure
seamless project execution.
- Establish engineering processes and standards to improve
efficiency and product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory
changes affecting the medical device sector.
- Prepare and present status updates to senior management and
stakeholders.
- Serve as a member of the Global Technical Operations group,
contributing to the strategic direction and technical excellence
across Med Tech Surgery manufacturing network.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical,
Biomedical, or a related field).
- 6+ years of experience in engineering management within the
medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO) related to
medical devices is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, with proficiency in
project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of packaging and sterilization technology is an
advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to
